Global Tax Customs Specialist

Role Profile
Key Accountabilities:
VAT and Excise Compliance:
* Assist with the preparation and review of monthly and annual tax returns.
* Prepare tax related documentation to support operations and projects.
* Analyze country specific implications of cross border transactions.
* Liaise with fiscal representatives and Tax Authorities in connection with tax returns and refunds.
* Collaborate with the finance teams and operations to make sure that compliance obligations are properly and timely addressed.
* Support the Global Tax team on their daily activities.
Customs Compliance:
* Assist with the preparation and review of reports to be shared with Customs Authorities.
* Prepare Customs related documentation to support operations and projects.
* Analyze country specific implications of cross border transactions.
* Liaise with fiscal representatives and Customs Authorities in connection with Customs reporting’s.
* Collaborate with the finance teams and operations to make sure that Customs obligations are properly and timely addressed.
* Support the Global Customs team on their daily activities
Cross-functional Collaboration:
* Work closely with various departments to provide guidance and support
* Liaise with extremal consultants in connection with tax and customs related matters and audits
Person Profile
Experience and Specific Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or 1 year of experience in Indirect Taxes and Customs compliance .
Knowledge of VAT, Excise Duties and Customs in connection with cross border transactions.
Proficiency in tax software and financial systems and proven ability with excel.
Full professional competence in English and Spanish.
Attention to detail and focus on data accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
