PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Head of Digital Media plays a key role in expanding our global digital inventory, implement programmatic ad buying, and monetize new media formats across our airport & retail ecosystem. The position holder reports to the SVP Advertising and Commercialization and can be based in either of our global hubs in the United States, The Netherlands, United Kingdon, Switzerland, Italy, Spain or Singapore if in possession of an appropriate work permit.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop & scale Avolta’s Digital Media Network across airports & in-store placements
- Optimize programmatic buying & DOOH monetization for retail media & out-of-home (OOH) advertising
- Integrate Dynamic Ad Formats into in-store, WiFi, and mobile advertising ecosystems
- Expand partnerships with media networks, tech vendors & creative agencies
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 8+ years’ experience in Digital Media, DOOH, Retail Media, or Programmatic Advertising
- Deep expertise in building in-store TV networks & connected digital signage
- Ability to scale media operations across multi-region advertising networks
- Fluent in English, speech and writing; additional language is an asset
- Strong ability to lead multi-cultural and cross-functional teams
- Effectively communicate strategies and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving start-up setting
- Ability to synthesize complex information into the essential points to inform executive decision-making
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed organization
- Superior relationship-building and exceptional consultative skills with a passion and hunger to win
- Results-oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and a “hands-on” person with a proven ability to meet objectives and targets
- Travel required, as necessary, for customer-facing activities and team collaboration
- Recognize and understand critical cultural approaches to doing business globally
