The Global HRIS Data Governance and Reporting Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, governance, and integrity of all human resources data stored in the HRIS, while also providing insights through reporting and analysis. This role plays a critical part in optimizing HR processes, supporting decision-making, and maintaining data compliance. This role involves designing and implementing data governance policies and procedures, maintaining data quality standards, and developing and delivering HR reports and analytics to support strategic HR and business initiatives. This role will collaborate with HR leaders and other departments to identify data needs, ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, and drive data-driven decision-making.

 

This position can be based in Madrid, Bedfont(UK), Amsterdam or Milan

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1.    Data Governance:
•    Develop and implement data governance strategies and policies to maintain data quality and accuracy within the HRIS.
•    Establish data ownership and stewardship responsibilities to ensure accountability for data accuracy.
•    Monitor data integrity, conduct regular audits, and resolve data inconsistencies and discrepancies.
•    Define and enforce data standards and best practices across the HR department.
2.    Data Reporting and Analysis:
•    Create and maintain a variety of HR reports and dashboards using HRIS tools and other data analysis tools.
•    Analyze HR data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement in HR processes.
•    Generate ad-hoc reports as requested by HR leadership and other stakeholders.
•    Ensure data privacy and security compliance while handling sensitive HR data.
•    Develop and maintain regular HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor HRIS effectiveness and HR process performance.
3.    Compliance and Documentation:
•    Ensure HR data complies with relevant regulations and company policies.
•    Maintain documentation of HRIS processes, data dictionaries, and data lineage.
•    Support HR audits and regulatory compliance efforts.
4.    Stakeholder Communication:
•    Collaborate with HR teams, including Compensation and Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Relations, to gather reporting requirements and provide insights.
•    Communicate data-related findings and recommendations to HR and business leaders.
•    Serve as a liaison between HR and IT departments for data-related projects.
5.    Other Responsibilities
•    Provide support and training to HR users on HRIS functionalities and reporting tools.
•    Troubleshoot HRIS data issues and coordinate with technical support as needed.
•    Develop user guides and documentation for HRIS processes.
 

Your Profile

 

•    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
•    Proven experience working with HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors preferred).
•    Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in excel. Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g.: Access dB, Power BI) is a plus.
•    Knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
•    Familiarity with HR compliance regulations and data privacy laws.
•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
•    Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
•    High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive HR data.
