Compensation: $70,600.00 to $83,000.00
Purpose: The Revenue Optimization Analyst is responsible for executing programs and performing analysis associated with the Revenue Optimization category of the enterprise Operational Performance Management Program. This position is responsible for managing complex and non-standard data sets partnering with Business Analytics and IT to develop process improvements, collaborating in systems integration projects, and effectively translating data into information for decision-making.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains and enhances the product hierarchy for pricing and sales mix analysis; ensures all product dimensions and attributes are accurate to facilitate pricing, sales mix, and revenue KPI tracking for assigned categories or business units
- Oversees multiple databases, ensuring efficient reporting and translating complex data into actionable business decisions that drive revenue
- Manages day-to-day data population and system usage for pricing and menu optimization; monitors and reports on performance management KPIs.
- Mines internal and external data to uncover financial and business opportunities; provide clear, actionable recommendations to stakeholders and support consensus-building for implementation
- Conducts pricing and sales mix analyses, identifying factors contributing to changes in prices, sales mix, and related KPIs; deliver insights for performance management and continuous improvement
- Supports the execution of Revenue Optimization projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve revenue, KPIs, and pricing/menu optimization processes
- Prepares presentations and assists in the presentation of project results and other analysis as required to departmental leadership or alongside departmental leadership to internal/external stakeholders
Reporting Relationship: The Revenue Optimization Analyst reports into the Senior Director, Revenue Optimization

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
- Education and Experience: The combination of education and professional experience must exceed 5 years:
- In a technical role: Requires 5 years of experience engaged in developing and delivering revenue optimization, pricing analysis, or related programs
- A bachelor’s degree in a program related to the functional area (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Data Science) can count for 3 of the 5-year requirement
- In the industry: 3+ years of Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail experience
- In a technical role: Requires 5 years of experience engaged in developing and delivering revenue optimization, pricing analysis, or related programs
- Specialized Training:
- Training that leads to an in-depth understanding of revenue optimization and business analysis
- Training that leads to a detailed knowledge of restaurants and retail pricing practices, menu/assortment selection process, related KPIs and KPI improvement methods
- Specialized Skillset/Competencies/Traits:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Smartsheet
- Experience in data analysis tools (Power Bi, Tableau, or similar BI platforms)
- Strong statistical analysis and data visualization skills; ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
- Business acumen and also has the mindset required to understand the long-term implications of revenue optimization planning and to advance the organization’s goals
- Demonstrated history of understanding the needs of the business, stakeholders, the employee population and individual circumstances
- Demonstrated history of creating and maintaining positive work environments
- Location: This role is based at the North America Support Center in Bethesda, MD
