Join Our Team as the Retail Stock Manager at Tampa International Airport!


As a Retail Stock Manager at TampaInternational Airport, you’ll oversee complex stock operations generating up to $30M in annual sales. In this role you will lead advanced inventory planning, demand forecasting, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination. This role manages larger, multi-shift stock teams and leverages enterprise systems to optimize inventory accuracy, reduce carrying costs and shrink, and ensure timely, efficient merchandise flow that supports sales.

Salary Range: $62,810.00  - $73,894.00 plus quarterly bonus opportunities!

Responsibilities

  • Lead inventory planning, demand forecasting, and replenishment strategies to maintain stock levels and optimize working capital.
  • Align inventory plans with the Retail Director of Operations.
  • Develop and enforce SOPs and performance standards across shifts and departments to ensure consistency, compliance, and safety.
  • Manage stock teams and shift managers, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Build team capability through succession planning and development.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, including contracts, SLAs, and performance reviews.
  • Optimize freight, delivery schedules, and cross-docking to reduce lead times and costs.
  • Analyze inventory and sales data to improve order quantities, product mix, and margins.
  • Implement forecasting models and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Lead asset protection programs, cycle counts, and variance analysis to minimize shrink.
  • Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams on promotions, seasonal resets, and product launches.
  • Use ERP/WMS/RMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, Manhattan) for inventory and labor planning, reporting, and analytics.
  • Prepare KPI dashboards and provide insights to senior leadership.
  • Plan and execute annual physical inventories and improve processes for accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage stock operations budget, monitor P&L impacts, and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in stock operations, inventory management, or supply chain.
  • 3+ years in a retail supervisory or management role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficient in inventory systems and retail management platforms.
  • OSHA safety awareness preferred; ability to obtain airport security credentials.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
