This Inventory Management Specialist Job Is for You, If You Enjoy:
- Being part of the procurement process including following up on order status, vendor reconciliation, resolving account discrepancies, parking invoices and other related duties.
- Ensuring accurate inventory at DC and stores as applicable.
- Administrative work in an office 75% of the time. The remaining 25% requires hands-on review of inventory in the warehouse and/or in-store review of inventory with store operations team.
- Reviewing reporting to ensure stock is moving to the stores at all times.
- Ensuring compliance with governing bodies including US Customs and FDA.

Inventory Management Specialist Key Responsibilities:
- Involved in the procurement process related to tracking of all inbound orders, joint maintenance of receiving log, cost price review of vendor invoices versus system PO prior to GR process and parking of vendor invoices.
- Investigate and report vendor shipping variances (AOD) and substitutions to the commercial department (Supply Chain, Category).
- Liaise with Supply Chain Planning team and Store Operations for RTVs to ensure all stock is accumulated at the DC prior to the creation of return PO.
- Coordination of inventory destruction including liaising with Customs Admin and local US Customs Port for bonded merchandise.
- Create inbound deliveries and forward to internal customs department.
- Work closely with Customs admin to ensure all bonded goods are managed in compliance with regulations including review of all inventory variances and on-time submission of Customs folder close-out package.
- Investigate all receiving and picking errors as well as any other inventory variances throughout the warehouse including cycle counts as required.
- Conduct daily SAP systems checks related to DC inventory and including SAP WMS (P71) system.
- Investigate discrepancies between transfer orders correcting the quantities “in-transit”;
- Complete various audit/KPI reports as required.
- Coordinate and reconcile cycle counts within the DC and liaise with Operations LP team on all Physical Inventories and cycle counts including bonded goods.
- Procurement (coordination with Supply Chain, vendors, park invoices).
- Review of related documentation for completion and compliance with accounts payable policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Follows up and resolves outstanding accounts payable issues as they arise.
- Performs month-end duties and meet other accounting calendar deadlines on a monthly basis.
Required Qualifications:
- SAP or Inventory management software is required.
- Extensive Microsoft Excel experience required with knowledge of different formulas and functions like VLookup, pivot tables, etc.
- Excellent time management and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem resolution.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must be detailed, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
