Compensation: $100,700.00 to $125,200.00
Purpose: The Manager, IT PMO leads the planning, execution, and delivery of highly complex projects within the IT portfolio.
Essential Functions:

Performs the day-to-day management of multiple projects to ensure that project objectives are achieved within time, cost, and quality constraints

Maintains project documentation including project plans, status reports, risk logs, etc.

Owns project communication through both written and verbal channels to all levels of the team including status meetings, steering meetings, and information updates

Acts as the liaison between the business and IT technical for project specific interactions

Provide leadership to the project team; ensures that project objectives are understood and that deadlines are met

Leads the planning, design, development, testing, and maintenance of complex business & technical solutions with a focus on quality & business performance

Assesses, identifies, and monitors potential project risks; develops contingency plans
Reporting Relationship: The Manager, IT PMO reports to the Senior Director, IT PMO
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:

Education and Experience: The combination of education and professional experience must exceed 5 years:
-
In a leadership role: Requires 2 years of experience supervising a team of professionals engaged in executing project management

In a technical role: Requires 5 years of experience engaged in developing and delivering project management programs, including managing large scale complex projects
-
A bachelor’s degree in a program related to the functional area can count for 3 of the 5-year requirement

In the industry: 3-5 years of Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail experience

Specialized Skillset/Competencies/Traits

Demonstrated experience in defining, implementing, and coaching others in project management methodologies & governance

Expertise in Portfolio/Demand management concepts and benefits; proven track record of implementing these concepts and delivering PPM benefits

Flexible approach to change; can effectively work in a variety of situations, constantly seek improvements, is displays a forward-looking mentality

Business acumen and also has the mindset required to understand the long-term implications of project management planning and to advance the organization’s goals

Demonstrated history of understanding the needs of the business, stakeholders, the employee population, and individual circumstances

Demonstrated history of creating and maintaining positive work environments through coaching, developing, and leading teams to achieve common goals
