PurposeThe Compliance Assistant - Data Subscriptions is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of accurate and timely sales data to contracted vendors.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Processes and prepare sales data for delivery to contracted vendors according to agreed-upon schedules and formats
  • Conducts thorough data quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors before delivery; troubleshoots data issues and proactively address potential sales gaps
  • Reviews and understands contractual obligations related to data delivery, including specific deliverables, timelines, and reporting requirements
  • Monitors compliance with contractual terms and conditions; coordinate delivery of other deliverables as outlined in contracts, such as compliance photos and quarterly reviews
  • Assists in the preparation of compliance reports and presentations
  • Runs ad-hoc sales data queries and reports as needed to support business needs and analysis
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of data quality control procedures
  • Analyzes data trends and identifies areas for improvement in data accuracy and delivery
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with contracted vendors; responds to vendor inquiries and resolve data-related issues promptly and effectively

 

Reporting Relationship: The Compliance Assistant reports directly to the Senior Manager, Revenue Compliance

 

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:

  • Education and Experience: The combination of education and professional experience must exceed 1 year:
    • In a technical role: Requires 1-2 years of experience engaged in delivering data entry or data analysis programs
    • In the industry: 1 year of Hospitality, F&B and/or Retail experience preferred
  • Specialized Skillset/Competencies/Traits
    • Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); ability to navigate Excel easily using pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data manipulation
    • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) preferred
    • Experience with ERP systems (e.g, SAP) preferred
    • Strong data entry and knowledge of data management; ability to learn new software and systems quickly
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent attention to detail and accuracy
    • Business acumen and also has the mindset required to understand the long-term implications of functional planning and to advance the organizations goals
    • Demonstrated history of understanding the needs of the business, stakeholders, the employee population and individual circumstances
    • Demonstrated history of creating and maintaining positive work environment

  • Location: This role is based at the North America Support Center in East Rutherford, NJ
