Retail Operations Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
- Help the General Manager and Operational Managers with daily store operations, ensuring an awesome customer service experience.
- Handle store opening, closing, and shift change procedures.
- Manage cash register tasks, including spot checks, end-of-shift cash reconciliations, void processing, and deposits.
- Ensure staff arrive on time in full, clean uniforms, including nametags.
- Report staff tardiness and absences to management.
- Make sure customers are greeted promptly and served by well-trained associates.
- Effectively manage customer lines.
- Train new hires & provide daily training and coaching to the staff.
- Assign daily duties to sales associates and keep them informed about daily sales targets
- Strong product knowledge and ensure proper stock replenishment and rotation.
- Maintain housekeeping standards (e.g., dusting, folding, sweeping, mopping).
- Stay alert to prevent theft and enforce policies to control internal shrinkage.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to manage and help plan daily activities with Leadership
- At least one year of experience as a retail supervisor
- Experience providing supervision and support to store staff
- Works with on-site sales representatives
- Approachable and interactive leadership qualities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time-management and multitasking skills
- Good at solving problems
- High School Diploma or equivalent
