Division Retail Operations Manager

Job outline

The position is responsible for the correct implementation of the commercial strategy of Dufry operations and retail models. He/she will monitor retail KPI’s and operational processes, activities and initiatives to implement best practice and deliver improved operational performance across all Travel Retail environments.


Key Accountabilities


  • Coordinate and deliver the Business Operating Model (BOM) roll out across the division

  • Monitor, communicate and ensure the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Retail Stores

  • Deliver the roll-out and implementation of key strategic initiatives through key stakeholders in the business

  • Project implementation in Retail Stores

  • Assist on aligning the retail operational strategy, define targets, resources and deliverables 

  • Prepare weekly KPI data collection to communicate and help drive and raise the standards of operations standards across the division

  • Identify opportunities, needs and efficiencies to drive operational excellence and evaluate turnaround plan impact for best practice implementation into the BOM/SOP

  • Certify all operational policies and procedures are in place across the division and help ensure all policies are enforced by Management throughout the market

  • Propose change, best practice application and ensure understanding for local delivery of Dufry P&P throughout the division

  • Coordinate training in operational policies and procedures




  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ experience in multi-unit retail or specialty store management in a senior  position of retail operations

  • A proven strong leader who can deliver under pressure with key influencing skills and an ability to operate at all levels

  • Knowledge of travel retail environment and Operational processes is preferred

  • Good communication skills and command of English

  • Position based in Hong Kong
