To reinforce our team we are looking for:

Jr. Project Manager

Job outline


1.    Manage all communication with cruise line technical team, third party contractors and Dufry operational and commercial teams.

2.    Prepare regular progress reports to Division Sr. Project Manager and DCS operational team.

3.    Heavy interaction with DCS Commercial and Product Category Management teams during the developmental stage.

4.    Assists in preparation of completion cost estimates (EACs), projections on funding, estimate on margins, and other planned reports.

5.    Monitors performance to Contracts, oversees contract compliance, and support negotiations with the customer on contract change proposals.

6.    May conduct risk analysis/evaluation; determine risk areas to cost or schedule, supports the development and maintenance of the risk/management plan and bring any risks to the attention of Division Sr Project Manager and Executive Management team.



1.    Experience of managing maritime projects independently and full understanding of all phases of project progress:

(a) coordination of project development with various teams responsible for early development (commercial, technical, etc.).

(b) tendering process from start to finish, i.e. from requesting quotes to preparing tender analysis report for decision making

(c) regular progress updates through the project

(d) cost control management and financial variance reporting

(d) final project analysis report

2.    Familiarity with and understanding of logistical requirements and coordination required for marine projects with often tight and non-changeable schedules.

3.    Familiarity with higher standards and specifications required in marine construction



  • Ability to work with ‘dwg’ (AutoCAD) drawings.
  • Experience with retail projects and retail design and layout planning
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish (verbal and written)



1.    Bachelors Degree or Equivalent

2.    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word, etc.)

3.    Ability to travel

4.    Valid Passport

5.    Must be authorized to work in the USA
